And very easily accessible at the bars in the university, and there is also an LCBO (Canadian alcohol store) just next to the university. While i was in University my roommates would drink everyday. i also don't see a reduction in alcohol consumption any time soon.</description>

I went to Michigan State University during my undergrad and binge drinking was the norm, not just in Frats and Sororities, but in the average college dorm room. It's inherent in the culture and environment, especially when you have 30-40,000 young people between the ages of 18-24 like East Lansing.

I guess they did crack down a bit in the fact that, it was very difficult to get into bars... even with your real ID! They had a couple deaths up there, that's why. I was at the University of Georgia a few years ago and they let basically anyone in the bars. Quite a difference to what I was used to. Personally, I cannot see the college environment ever evolving to one of less alcohol.</description>
